IGL Sharon hospital is seeking at least two palliative care trained physicians as well as other fields such as psychology or counseling to discuss things like dignity therapy, depression and anxiety, etc.; nurses that can teach wound care which is a major interest in need; a chaplain, cardiologist, pulmonologist, oncologists, surgeon, nephrologist who can discuss palliative care for end-of-life conditions in their field (for nephrologist teaching on the futility of dialysis that end-of-life and palliative withdrawal would be a topic of interest) and someone to discuss ethics who has significant local cultural knowledge.

Please review your topics and see you have questions. The audience will be MOSTLY psychosocial workers- social workers, psychologists, psychologists. Also nurses and some doctors. Keep your talks RELEVANT, APPLICABLE, and REPRODUCIBLE. It needs to be for the Indian population, when the learners leave there should be take home points that they can immediately and easily apply to clinical practice, and they should leave feeling that they can teach this to others. I would like to get your presentations by July 15 so I can help you with those goals and to also get things translated. We expect about 50-75 people.
