Team Vision
Our vision is to empower Thai and Myanmar people to encounter the transformative love of Jesus through our service and daily interactions. We seek to be salt and light in our daily context as we come alongside established organizations that are already serving these communities. We aim to collaborate and support these organizations with our giftings and skills to amplify their efforts. Through these efforts our hope and goal is to see the expansion of the Gospel and the Church in these nations.

Description
In Thailand, we are working among Myanmar and Thai communities in several ways.

One, is through teaching English at a Christian Myanmar learning center. Kids from several ethnic Myanmar backgrounds study there from 8am-4pm daily. Some of these kids have recently crossed the border or have been sent to our city to escape the unrest in Myanmar. Most of the kids come from families who have working parents and are in need of a positive influence and spiritual mentorship in their faith.

Second, is helping at an organization called the Wheelchair Project. Engineers, marketers, physical therapists, and a range of other backgrounds can help the work of providing wheelchairs and mobility aids to people with disabilities in Thailand. If you enjoy the practical, hands-on side of ministry this could be the opportunity for you.

Avenues of Involvement:
  1. Teaching at the Christian Myanmar Learning center to fulfill the role of a teacher and mentor to students ranging from the ages of 4 to 16. A former teaching background is not required.
  2. Serving at the Wheelchair Project and being the practical hands and feet of Jesus to people with disabilities in Thailand. There are several roles that you can fill.
  3. The third avenue would be a hybrid of the two options above. This would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to explore different types of ministries and cultures and be exposed to a wider range of possibilities.
