Rwanda, Sep 13 - 22, 2024, Family Trip SR1672
We welcome physicians, dentists, pharmacists, dermatologists, optometrists, ophthalmologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, first responders, dental hygienists, dental assistants, physical/occupational therapists, students, and servants (non-medical helpers). Since this team will be going into the prisons, we will not allow children to serve on this team.
Rwanda's recovery from the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi has been remarkable. Despite the progress, access to quality healthcare is a daily struggle. The team will be holding a medical/dental outreach in two sites approximately 1 1/2 hours outside of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
The outreach sites will be at a Community Health Center and at Rulima Men's Prison. The sites are where His Hands on Africa goes regularly for their dental outreaches. Our team will go and support the ministry of HHOA, and work with a team of Rwandan pastors to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ to those participating in our clinic outreach.
We invite you to join us on our first GHO trip to Rwanda. While an exciting opportunity, it will require some flexibility as we work through the logistics of our first trip to the beautiful country of Rwanda.
