Elementary School Teachers, Middle School Teachers, High School Teachers, and Special Education Teachers make a significant impact in the lives of students at SAM Academy in Pucallpa, Peru. The goal of SAM Academy is to provide quality education and spiritual development for the children of missionary families who are serving in and around this jungle city. The school serves to free parents from the need to home-school their children so they are able to fully focus on their respective ministry assignments, and the school averages between 20 to 30 students who are taught in three multi-grade classrooms (elementary, middle, and high school).The duration of teaching roles ranges from a minimum of 9 months to 3 years or more.
This opportunity is with TEAM’s ministry partner SAM (South America Mission), an evangelical and interdenominational mission organization with a vision to see the church of Jesus Christ multiplied across South America, transforming local communities and the world by embodying the kingdom of God.
