Paraguay Short Term Medical Mission Trip

WHEN
Mar 28 2022 - Apr 7 2022
WHERE
San Lorenzo, PY
HOSTED BY

Team Members Needed

  • 4 - 5 team members total
  • At least 2 doctors
  • At least 1 nurse
  • Other team members do not need to be medical professionals

On this trip, we will be conducting mobile urgent care clinics (without procedures) in five different villages where a local church and national church planter has arranged with the nearby school for us to hold clinics.  In Paraguay this has worked well, as the churches are small, while the local school only blocks from the church opens up classrooms for us to use. A key component of each clinic is taking patient histories, which is done in partnership with bilingual nationals. After taking the histories, which are given to the doctors, the history takers then present the Gospel to those who give them permission.  (If sharing the gospel is new for you, we will help you learn how to do that!) The Paraguayans are particularly open to this!

On the weekend we we will do some sightseeing and will attend the local church on Sunday.  We will be treating all comers for free, while also presenting the Gospel to those who give us permission.  We will stay in at Hotel Liz in San Lorenzo, just east of the capital, Asuncion.
