We are excited about our first medical and dental outreach to Cameroon, February 14-23, 2020! Cameroon is often referred to as “Africa in miniature” due to the cultural diversity. The official languages are English and French, but over 250 languages and dialects are spoken! Cameroon is located in Western Africa on the Gulf of Guinea and is bordered by 6 countries. We will be partnering with Health for All Mission . This will be a great opportunity to share the love of Christ and make an eternal impact!

Missions

Overview

A medical/dental clinic in this area is rare and the needs are tremendous. On this outreach we will help many of the sick and hurting who would otherwise go without much needed treatment. We will set up a general medical/dental clinic and treat patients' needs as they present. We will also pray with every patient and give them an opportunity to receive Christ. The team will be staying in a hotel based in Douala. The clinics will be in and around Douala.

Schedule

Friday, February 14
Depart home city, meet team in New York and fly to Cameroon together as a team (This is a US departure date, other countries may vary).

Saturday, February 15
Arrive in Cameroon and drive to hotel. Team orientation

Sunday, February 16
Church in the morning, pack medication

Monday, February 17
Medical/Dental Clinic

Tuesday, February 18
Medical/Dental Clinic

Wednesday, February 19
Medical/Dental Clinic

Thursday, February 20
Medical/Dental Clinic

Friday, February 21

Saturday, February 22
Depart for home late evening.

Sunday, February 23
Arrive in New York mid-morning.

Cost

Cost for Food, Lodging, Ground Transportation, Interpreters, Hand of Hope T-shirt, and Travel Health Insurance: $1,500.

Estimated airfare is $1,500 depending on your departure city. The registration is paid to Joyce Meyer Ministries, and you will pay the travel agent we use directly for your flight.
