Each team member must arrange and pay for their own airfare. NOTE: The total cost will vary depending on the applicant's CMDA membership status, professional status and length of stay. All participants will pay an admin/registration fee, project fee and daily emergency evacuation insurance fee for which MEI automatically enrolls all participants.
MEI teams are requested to provide clinical teaching in clinics and the basic principles of patient care at the bedside for MSIVs, primary care physicians and ER physicians. Ophthalmologist, rheumatologist and hematologist specializing in transfusion medicine are also specialties of great need.

Application Registration Fee: for non-medical professional/spouse: $100
EEI - Purchased on behalf of participants:
Mandatory Emergency Evacuation Insurance: $4.10/day (Begins on date of departure and ends upon date of return to the US)
Project fees:
Project fees: 1 - 10 Days - $700 per professional; $300 for guest with shared room.
Project fees: 11+ Days - $900 per professional; $400 for guest with shared room.

- Complete the Itinerary Google Sheet once flight is acquired.
Restrictions
- Must be able to walk at least 1 mile unassisted.
- Must have proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
