Austria Summer Internship

Summer interns to Vienna will gain experience in the Austrian culture and ministry opportunities. The experiences will engage you cross-culturally alongside TEAM global workers and their Austrian ministry partners. 

Interns will participate in a month-long German course and get to know local ministries in Vienna. Some of those activities may include English day camps, ministries through church plants, prayer walks, crafts with refugee children, and youth activities. Interns will attend local Austrian churches and be involved in the local community. An intern will adapt to daily life in Vienna by traveling on public transportation, finding their way around town. 

The summer internship begins with orientation and training, includes weekly mentoring with an on-site supervisor, and ends with a time of debriefing. This is not a vacation or a chance to visit Europe to have fun, but to have a meaningful experience that gives an introduction to mission opportunities in Austria. 

Requirements 

• A growing relationship with Christ 
• Willingness to learn basic German
• Enjoy working with people 
• Interested in engaging with different cultures 
• College interns must have completed 1 full year of college 
• No high school students
