About Us
GO Ministries empowers local leaders serving inside their own culture to redeem people, renew communities and restore creation through mutual transformation, and has been working in the Dominican Republic for over 30 years.
GO Medical is a team of healthcare professionals serving in their community of Hoya del Caimito and beyond, making a Kingdom impact. Our local leaders serve as a lifeline in the area of medicine. Our hope is that by caring for a person physically, we also are a part of their mental and psychological health, ultimately leading to their spiritual healing in Jesus Christ. GO Medical is committed to being a light for our neighbors, a beacon on a hill, and a healing place for the children of God.
GO Medical provides comprehensive care for those who otherwise could not access health care. This includes consultations, chronic care checkups, dentistry, wound care, lab testing, medicine, education, and prayer. We make care affordable and available through our Medical Center and mobile medical clinics across the island. We work alongside the local leaders that GO Ministries empowers in the Dominican Republic and beyond, seeking to treat patients, educate our neighbors, and equip our local leaders with basic healthcare knowledge as tools for their ministry.
GO Ministries is unique because GO Medical works hand in hand with Church Planting, Sports, and Community Development through hosting mobile medical clinics in communities where healthcare is not accessible. These mobile clinics not only bring medical healing and spiritual care, but also provide a lasting opportunity for the local pastor to build rapport and trust with members of their community. Mobile clinics are done either through American medical teams who come and serve on a medical trip that includes three days of mobile clinics, or through our Dominican medical staff who conducts medical clinics in some of the harder to reach and/or more difficult areas.
